What is Esoteric Art?

You are invited to a gathering to celebrate the life, teachings, and art of British artist and author, Benjamin Creme. The museum is delighted to announce that two members of the Creme family - Benjamin's Creme's wife, Phyllis, and his daughter, Tara, will be visiting on this eventful day. We anticipate a lively discussion, including a time for Questions and Answers. The event is casual and light refreshments will be provided.

What is Esoteric Art?

Please join us for a conversation about Benjamin Creme's esoteric and modern art. With us will be museum friends from UK and Canada as well as interested parties from Southern California. The event will be casual, with light refreshments and open discussions.

Introducing the original Creme oil painting ‘Thangka for the coming Buddha Maitreya’, the public explores the information Benjamin Creme delivered for over forty years to an expectant and hopeful world about the coming of the World Teacher, Maitreya. Creme, a painter by profession, left behind an unparalleled body of artistic work in the esoteric vein, reflecting the theosophical writings of Helena Blavatsky, Alice A. Bailey, and Helena Roerich, and of course his own authorship of 16 spiritual books which are grounded in the Ageless Wisdom teachings.

Using the Museum’s collection of original esoteric art, one examines the evolution of consciousness in the various kingdoms in nature, from man and the subhuman kingdoms up to and including the spiritual kingdom above humanity which has long been the inspiration behind humanity’s changes at key times in mankind’s long evolutionary journey.
